About Me

Mac Slaughterday
(Victor Mac-Namara)

I’m a deranged metalhead—born in Chile, forged in the fires of death metal, horror movies, history books, and sci-fi.
Guitarist for Thornafire, I had the honor of opening for Slayer in front of 13,000 maniacs and have toured Europe several times, spreading the sonic plague.

Since 1998, I’ve been crafting illustrations, logos, and designs for extreme bands, diving deep into album art starting in 2001 I took my name from the doomy, haunting song Slaughterday by Autopsy.

I paused painting for a few years to focus on design, working closely with John McEntee of Incantation on his label Ibex Moon Records between 2005 and 2010, creating work for bands like Asphyx, Master, Acheron, and more.

In 2019, I resurrected my obsession with cover art, guided by the mighty Marcos Miller (Nausea Design). These days, I summon visions through music videos too—mixing chaos, cosmic horror, and raw, unfiltered madness.

Even in this modern world that tries to sterilize emotion, contemplation, and rebellion, handing people a microwaved, pre-cooked lifestyles (๑-﹏-๑). Metal is still magic and self thinking music style.
